Fire Cider Margarita

Yes…. you heard right. We are suggesting that you mix your daily dose of herbal medicine into a cocktail. Because life is short and herbs don’t judge! Neither do we. When folks ask “how do I take Fire Cider?” (which they do, daily), our first answer is: HOWEVER YOU WANT!

Our second answer is by the spoonful. Our third answer might be this recipe, it’s that refreshing. Okay, our third answer would probably be as a Morning Lemonade Tonic. But, a Fire Cider Margarita is way up there as one of the best ways to bring together your herbal routine with your kitchen witchin’.

Don’t drink? We don’t really either (we were left with an untouched bottle of Tequila at the holidays that just screamed – share me! – hence the recipe). This recipe is delish as a mocktail. Just go ahead and add more soda water, some kombucha, or perhaps alcohol-free spirits (which are totally a thing now and we are SO excited about it).

FIRE CIDER MARGARITA (*makes 2-3 drinks)
1/4  cup Town Farm Tonics Fire Cider
1/2 cup Tequila (traditional or alcohol-free spirit)
1/4 cup Orange Juice
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
Soda Water (optional, to taste)

Combine the first four ingredients in a shaker or jar – shake well. Pour into to glasses, over ice. Top with your desired amount of soda water. We highly recommend enjoying in the sunshine surrounded by plant friends!
